We Are One is located in Kamloops British Columbia, Canada, Berd is located in Hopkins, MN, and Industry Nine Hydra Hubs are made in Asheville, NC.
Light enough for XC racing but tough enough for gnarly trail rips and enduro runs, HAWK30 wheels combine lightweight and vibration damping Berd spokes with 30 mm internal carbon rims and Industry Nine hubs.
The HAWK30 rims are only 18 mm deep. This unique design yields engineered radial compliance and high lateral stiffness. The combination of vibration damping Berd spokes and our new radial compliant rim means more speed over rough terrain and less rider fatigue.
With a wide 3.75 mm rim lip, Berd's new rims spread out tire/rim impacts across a larger surface area to prevent tire and rim damage during acute impacts.
The HAWK30 wheelset is built around either black Industry Nine Hydra Centerlock hubs, delivering almost instantaneous engagement and long-term reliability, along with remarkably low weight OR the new Berd Talon Hub featuring hooked hub flanges designed to work specifically with Berd spokes along with a dual-sprung ratchet freehub in either 36t or 54t.
These Berd wheels are available to be ordered using the Onyx Hook Flange Hub System for a $100 upcharge. This option is available in 12x142 (Including SingleSpeed),12x148, and 12x157 SuperBoost rear spacing. Please allow up to 6-8 weeks for delivery of Hook Flange wheels.
